Recens® Bag Depalletizer
Automatic bag depalletizer that unloads filled 25 to 50 kg bags from pallets and stacked vehicle loads at up to 1,200 bags per hour, with 99% pattern recognition, a 90 second vehicle scan and a bag break rate below 0.03%.
Applications
The Recens® Bag Depalletizer takes filled 25 to 50 kg bags off a stacked load and puts them onto a conveyor — automatically, without anyone lifting a bag by hand. The machine scans the pallet or the vehicle, works out the stacking pattern and then removes the bags layer by layer over the full length and width of the load. Because it reads each stack instead of following a fixed programme, one machine copes with different vehicles, different bag sizes and both horizontal and vertical stacking. Bag breakage stays below 0.03 per cent, so the product reaches the warehouse in the condition it left the packing line, and vehicle recognition of 99 per cent or better with a scan time of 90 seconds or less means the machine is ready almost as soon as the vehicle is in position.
Key Features
• Automatic de-stacking of filled 25, 40 and 50 kg bags from pallets and from stacked loads in trucks and containers — no manual lifting in the unloading bay
• Vehicle or stack scanning with a recognition rate of 99% or better and a scanning time of 90 seconds or less
• Pattern recognition handles both horizontal and vertical stacking, and adjusts to different bag sizes without a mechanical changeover
• Bag break rate below 0.03% — the product arrives in the warehouse in the same condition it left the packing line
• Handles vehicles up to 17.5 m long and 1.6 – 2.6 m wide, covering the standard flatbed, box body and container fleet
• PLC control with a touch screen operator interface and remote control, so the cycle can be run and fine-tuned from the unloading bay
• Working voltage 380 V, 50 or 60 Hz, matched to the local power supply at the time of order
• Handles both open mouth and valved bags, and unloads up to 1,200 bags per hour — roughly 30 to 60 t/h depending on bag weight
Applications
Bagged bulk plants — fertilizer, grain, feed, flour and chemical bagging lines
Warehouses and distribution centres receiving palletised bag loads

Cement and building material bagging plants
Port and inland terminals handling palletised bag cargo
Open mouth and valved bag operations with 25, 40 or 50 kg bags
Any loading bay where bags are still being carried by hand

Why Recens
Recens builds bagging, palletizing, loading and unloading systems for fertilizer, grain, feed and chemical plants, so the depalletizer is designed by the same team that designed the packing line it will work downstream of. The machine is configured to the vehicles and bag types actually in use at the plant rather than sold as a fixed package, and Recens supports it with field service from installation and scale-up through to 24/7 ongoing support.

Customer benefits
Unloading is done without anyone lifting a bag by hand — less strain, less injury risk and fewer people needed in the bay
Faster vehicle turnaround: the load is scanned in 90 seconds and the bags then come off in a steady stream
Bag breakage below 0.03 per cent means less product lost as spillage and much less cleaning in the bay
One machine covers the whole vehicle fleet and both bag types, with no mechanical changeover between orders
Built for decades of reliable service, delivering dependable quality that saves you time and money
Recens field service technicians to provide site supervision service from installation and scale-up to 24/7 ongoing support
